Women go into labor with the medical staff and their doctor/midwife. Well, times have changed. Women can now go into pregnancy, labor and delivery with a birth partner, medical staff and their doctor/midwife. How is that possible?

By joining Childbirth Preparation Class or Lamaze Class.

The objective is to educate the pregnant woman and her partner to assume an active and fulfilling role in childbirth. They will both:

- Learn what can possibly happen during the birth process.
- Acquire tools and techniques that will help her be in tune with her body.
- With knowledge of what can transpire and confidence, they will experience a more positive and active birth.

When is the best time to attend classes?

Ideally from the 6th – 7th month of pregnancy. It is best to inquire early to find out available schedules and venues of classes. Training sessions are held once a week for 6 weeks.
